As a Branch Operations Lead in a Chase Branch, you'll be at the heart of our branch operations, working closely with the Branch Manager, branch employees, and our team of experts. Your role is crucial in ensuring that our clients' financial transactions are handled with precision and care, all while adhering to our policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
A typical day will involve assisting clients with their transactions, introducing clients to self-service options, and building lasting relationships. You will also review branch operations and keep the branch team informed about the latest policies and procedures. Your leadership will help the branch meet and exceed control expectations, setting a positive tone for everyone who walks through our doors.
Job Responsibilities
Collaborate with the Branch Manager to create a welcoming and vibrant atmosphere in the branch, ensuring every client enjoys an exceptional experience and feels part of a dynamic community.
Greet clients warmly, assist with transactions, manage lobby flow, schedule meetings, and build trusted relationships.
Engage clients with clear communication to understand and meet their needs; anticipate needs while managing the waiting queue for a smooth visit.
Lead branch operations, including managing cash devices like the cash vault and ATM; resolve client issues quickly while adhering to bank policies and procedures.
Introduce clients to the branch team and collaborate to deliver seamless service and assist with specialized financial needs.
Simplify banking by promoting self-service options for 24/7 access to accounts.
Support all aspects of branch operations with a focus on loss control, compliance, and audits to ensure secure, smooth operations.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills
Adherence to policies, procedures, and regulatory banking requirements with attention to detail.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
Leadership and operational proficiency with a focus on transaction accuracy and teamwork.
Ability to educate and keep the branch team and partners informed.
Strong client relationship skills and ability to refer clients to experts when needed.
1+ years of retail banking experience.
High school degree, GED, or foreign equivalent.
Ability to work branch hours including weekends and evenings.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills
6+ months of Associate Banker (Teller) experience.
College degree or military equivalent.
Training and Travel Requirement
Successfully complete the Branch Operations Lead Training Program before placement.
Travel as required for in-person training and meetings.
