We are currently seeking a full-time Program Aide for our Preschool for All program in Wheaton, DuPage County. We offer a $3,000 sign-on bonus for first-time employees with MFS ($1,500 upon first paycheck and $1,500 after 6 months). SALARY:

The starting salary ranges from $30,000 to $35,000 annually, depending on skills and experience. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Support the planning and implementation of program activities as part of a team. Collaborate with Family Support Workers, Teachers, Lead Teachers, site partners, and supervisors to enhance classroom and family outcomes. Participate in ongoing CLASS implementation and monitoring. Guide and facilitate children's activities, ensuring proper discipline, guidance, and appropriate ratios. Attend all mandated trainings and set professional development goals, tracked in Gateways. Share resources with staff as appropriate. Use Teaching Strategies Gold for documenting school readiness skills and maintaining interrater reliability. Communicate with families via newsletters and conference forms using Teaching Strategies Gold. Implement the program’s Planned Language Approach to support dual language learners. Conduct home visits with teaching staff to discuss development and assist with educational goals. Maintain accurate teacher and child files. Follow transportation safety procedures, including using the bus attendance log if applicable. Complete CACFP documents accurately with teaching staff. Build positive relationships with parents, volunteers, and staff. Work with supervisors and family support workers on services for children with disabilities. Conduct and oversee screenings of children using prescribed tools within set timeframes. Ensure curriculum fidelity, including weekly lesson plans and accommodations for IEPs and IFSPs. Create a safe, caring environment for children. Use the playground as an extension of the classroom, ensuring safety. Supervise children actively during all activities. Utilize agency technology appropriately and adhere to the code of conduct and fiscal policies. Assist in the agency’s annual self-assessment and ensure data accuracy in reports. Participate in recruitment efforts to maintain full enrollment. Perform other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma required. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Sit, stand, talk, hear, and use hands frequently; occasionally bend, stretch, stoop, kneel, and crouch. Visual acuity for data and computer work. May lift/move up to 50 pounds.
