Associate Director of Tax Administration
Collaborate with the Commissioner to develop long and short-term objectives for the division, to ensure consistency with the overall agency strategic objectives and mission.
Manage and coach employees in a manner that supports agency objectives and encourages professional growth.
Manage the division's resources, budget, staff and equipment.
Assist in salary administration plan in collaboration with the Commissioner and Human Resource Director.
Administer audit and compliance programs in accordance with statute and agency guidelines.
Recommend changes to tax laws to improve administration and compliance functions.
Review and analyze proposed legislation, monitor legislative activity, represent the agency on legislative matters, testify before legislative committees, and assist in implementation of legislation.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or higher; and
Ten years of experience in the accounting field; and
Five years of mid to upper level management experience
