Clinical Psychologist Responsibilities

Provide psychological assessments, psychotherapy, and court testimony. Engage in consultation and training with individuals, families, agency staff, and community partners. May supervise students where appropriate. Qualifications

To be considered for the Psychologist position, you must have a Doctorate in Psychology and licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Psychologist by the ND Board of Psychologist Examiners, per North Dakota Century Code Chapter 43-32, and two (2) years of experience as a Licensed Psychologist. If qualified candidates are not available, consideration may be given to

Licensed Psychologist I

(Doctorate in Psychology and licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Psychologist). If unable to find fully licensed candidates, may consider filling the position as a

Psychology Resident

(Doctorate in Psychology and eligibility for a supervised residency as determined by the ND Board of Psychologist Examiners). About NDSH

The North Dakota State Hospital (NDSH), located in Jamestown, is a specialized psychiatric hospital serving the state. Services focus on psychiatric rehabilitation, residential substance use disorders treatment, and residential treatment for sexually dangerous individuals.
