We are seeking a highly experienced Program Manager to lead complex IT modernization initiatives and oversee large-scale service delivery contracts. The ideal candidate will bring a proven track record of driving innovation, improving operational efficiency, and managing multimillion-dollar programs in dynamic, high-stakes environments. This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to manage cross-functional teams in accordance with industry best practices such as CMMI, Agile, and ITIL.
Position is contingent upon contract award.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage large-scale IT programs focused on system modernization, innovation, and operational efficiency. Oversee cost, schedule, and performance across multiple projects, ensuring alignment with client goals and contractual obligations. Supervise and coordinate diverse teams across various technical disciplines and job categories. Ensure compliance with program requirements, including quality assurance, risk management, and reporting. Apply best practices in project and program management, including Agile methodologies, ITIL service management, and CMMI process improvement. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, stakeholders, and subcontractors. Provide strategic direction and mentorship to project teams, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration). Master’s degree (MBA or IT-related) is preferred. Demonstrated experience leading IT modernization efforts that resulted in measurable cost savings or operational improvements. Proven expertise in managing and controlling program costs and resources. Documented success supervising large IT services contracts with diverse technical staff. Progressive IT experience, including leadership roles in complex environments. Experience managing at least one project within the past three (3) years with: Total contract value exceeding $10 million. Delivery in a highly complex environment.
