Develops data collection and analysis methodology, including specifying data requirements, data sources, and data collection procedures for statistical analysis, with attention to ethical considerations. Develops and implements data collection quality assurance procedures to ensure accuracy, validity, and reliability of results. Provides expertise in quantitative and qualitative analysis of health research data. Makes recommendations regarding design and data collection methodology for clinical, healthcare, or epidemiological research. Mentors HWCOM students on study design and data collection, data cleaning/ preparation/ management, data analysis, interpretation and reporting of findings. Responsible for data organization, maintenance of databases, statistical analysis, interpretation and reporting to stakeholders. Supports educational activities related to research data collection, evaluation, analysis, interpretation and reporting. Collects data using appropriate methods (e.g., checklists, rating scales, surveys, forms, questionnaires). Generates reports, charts, tables, and presentations for reporting data and outcomes to individuals, offices, and committees. Builds and maintains data structures needed for longitudinal reporting. Serves as a resource for faculty regarding data collection methods and data quality. Collaborates with HWCOM IT to identify data delivery requirements and specifications. Participates as a member of project-related committees and maintains positive relationships with students and stakeholders. Performs quality control of data compilation, analysis, interpretation, visualization, and reporting for the program. Trains other research analysts in health data statistics to support the Office of Research and HWCOM. Works with a high degree of autonomy to manage multifaceted projects and develop realistic timelines. Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area and six (6) years of experience or a Master’s degree in an appropriate area and four (4) years of experience. Desired Qualifications

Degree in Biostatistics preferred. Strong analytical and statistical skills in clinical, healthcare, and epidemiological research. Working knowledge of statistical variables, descriptive statistics, and basic inferences (t-test, z-test, chi-square, regression). Experience with R, Python, or SQL, and with SPSS, Stata, or SAS.
