The Department of Medical Pharmacology and Physiology at the University of Missouri invites applications for a tenure-track or tenured position (Assistant to Full Professor ranks). The successful candidate will contribute to undergraduate, graduate, and medical student educational initiatives and will lead a highly productive, collaborative research program supported by significant extramural funding. Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
Ph.D., M.D., or M.D./Ph.D. in physiology, pharmacology, or related fields. Candidates Will Be Evaluated On:
Ability to secure extramural funding, integrate molecular and cellular approaches, and apply basic findings to impact human health. Candidates should contribute to a culture of innovation and expand programmatic initiatives in vascular biology, cardiac myocyte biology, and tissue repair. Expertise in computational modeling and understanding how inflammation, diabetes, cancer, aging, gut microbiome, or gender influences the cardiovascular system are desirable. Application Materials
