Ultrasound Technologist - Providence Imaging Center Join to apply for the Ultrasound Technologist role at Providence Health & Services. The Ultrasound Technologist performs and evaluates sonographic examinations, obtains clinical history, and conducts a physical assessment to determine appropriate testing protocol. Provide a technical interpretation of sonographic and physiologic data to assist physicians in diagnosis. Qualifications
Required:
Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Sonography Program or certification with the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography. Required:
National Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer within 1 year of hire. Required:
National Provider BLS — American Heart Association within 30 days of hire. Required:
9 months Ultrasound coursework experience in Abdomen, OB/Gyn including clinical rotation. Preferred:
9 months Ultrasound coursework experience in Breast, Vascular including clinical rotation. Location and Schedule
Location: Providence Imaging Center – Anchorage, AK. Position is full-time, 1.0 FTE, 8-hour day shifts (40 hours per week). Compensation and Benefits
Pay range: $44.67 - $69.35 per hour (base pay; additional compensation may be available). Hiring bonus and relocation assistance available for eligible external hires.
