We are the largest provider of primary health care services in Fairfield County, proudly serving all patients regardless of their ability to pay. We are presently recruiting for a
dedicated Pediatrician, MD/DO to provide care for our pediatric patients in our clinic located in Bridgeport, CT.

A care model that offers conventional medicine, dentistry, and behavioral health services along with complementary approaches such as acupuncture, chiropractic, and nutritional counseling. An expanding focus on employee recognition, health, and well-being. The Pediatrician will work within a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to pediatric patients. This community health center seeks a physician passionate about treating those in need and working with an underserved population. Essential Functions & Responsibilities Include: Deliver care appropriate for a primary care community health center with a multicultural, multilingual patient population. Examine, diagnose, and treat patients from birth to early adulthood. Act as primary consultant on all pediatric cases referred by other staff providers of Optimus Health Care. Provide in-service training for staff in selected Pediatrics topics as deemed necessary by the Chief Medical Officer. Work under the direction of the Chief Medical Officer, responsible for staff coverage and quality care. Participate in quality assurance procedures such as audits/peer review. Supervise APRNs and PAs if needed. Assist in internal quality control audits. Provide quality medical care according to established standards. Position Highlights: Multi-specialty integrated care practice. 100% outpatient setting. Existing patient base awaits the incoming physician. Excellent fringe benefits and health insurance. Competitive salary. Federal student loan repayment, if eligible. Location: Close to the coast, less than 1 hour to New York City. Qualifications: Medical degree from an accredited medical school. Completion of a residency in Pediatric Medicine from an accredited institution. Current Connecticut licensure. Board certification or certification within two years of hire.
