Work Schedule:
100% FTE, 8:00 am–5:00 pm, Monday – Friday. No holidays or call requirements.
Join the #1 hospital in Wisconsin. We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide care in outpatient adult and pediatric otolaryngology settings.
Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive care to adult and pediatric otolaryngology patients in an outpatient setting.
Assist with procedures: ear microscopy, removal of cerumen impaction, nasal cautery, nasal endoscopy, laryngoscopy, myringotomy, hematoma evacuation, and lesion biopsy.
Conduct comprehensive or episodic health histories and physical assessments of patients and families with acute or chronic health problems.
Education Minimum –
For Nurse Practitioner: Master’s or Doctorate degree from an accredited nursing program. For Physician Assistant: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited PA program.
Licenses and Certifications Minimum –
For Nurse Practitioner: Active RN and APNP license in Wisconsin AND active board certification as an NP in one of the following areas: Adult; Adult/Gerontology Acute Care; Adult/Gerontology Primary Care; Family; or Women’s Health.
For Physician Assistant: Active PA license in Wisconsin AND active PA board certification.
All applicants must have: Active DEA license (or the ability to apply prior to or upon hire); CPR certification and advanced life support certifications if relevant to practice area (ACLS, PALS, NRP).
Qualifications
Master’s Degree or Doctorate from an accredited nursing program (required).
Work Experience / Licenses & Certifications
Active RN and APRN certifications and licenses, including prescriptive authority, in state(s) of practice at hire.
Active board certification as a NP in the area of clinical practice (e.g., Adult; Adult/Gerontology Acute Care; Adult/Gerontology Primary Care; Emergency; Family; Gerontology; Neonatal; Pediatric Acute Care; Pediatric Primary Care; Psychiatric-Mental Health; or Women’s Health) at hire.
Active DEA license or ability to obtain prior to or upon hire.
