The Minnesota Veterans Home - Minneapolis is looking for a part-time Speech Pathology Clinician. The position exists to meet speech, hearing and rehabilitation services to residents so that maximum functioning can be achieved and maintained. The work includes developing treatment plans, assessing communication needs, and collaborating with community support providers as part of a patient-centered care team. Current Minnesota licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP). Clinical Competence Certificate (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. Master’s or Doctorate degree in Communication Sciences & Disorders, Speech-Language Pathology, Audiology or closely related field. 3 years of professional experience providing speech-language pathology assessment and treatment services to individuals with communication disorders, including: Identifying communication needs through observation, interviews, formal and informal assessment Collaborating with community support providers Developing treatment plans Preferred Qualifications

Two years of experience as a Speech Pathology Clinician working in a long-term care environment Additional Requirements

Tuberculosis (Mantoux) screening (or chest x-ray) required prior to employment.
