Overview
Join Our Team as an Avionics Worst Case Analysis Engineer where you will work on the development of a sophisticated state-of-the-art avionics product in a world class Integrated Product Development environment. Location: This position does not support teleworking; preferred candidate will be located near our Lockheed Martin Space facility at one of the Coolest places to work: Sunnyvale CA or Littleton CO or King of Prussia PA. Responsibilities
Support the development of avionics hardware in an aerospace context.
Perform Worst Case Analysis (WCCA) and Electrical Parts Stress Analysis; conduct electronics analysis.
Interface with peers, management, and government customers; contribute to technical presentations and written communications.
Create and interpret electronic system schematics and use electronics modeling/simulation software (e.g., SPICE).
Participate in failure investigations on electronic hardware (CCA, Unit, and System Level).
Contribute to training materials for Worst Case Analysis and Electrical Parts Stress Analysis.
Collaborate in a dynamic, team-focused environment and help build consensus among team members.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor of Science or higher in Electrical Engineering or related discipline (or equivalent experience/combined education).
Experience performing electronics analysis, including Worst Case Circuit Analysis and Electrical Parts Stress Analysis.
14+ years of professional experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 12+ years with a Master's degree.
Desired Skills
Experience with analog/power circuit Worst Case Circuit Analysis (WCCA).
Experience instructing and creating training materials for Worst Case Analysis and Electrical Parts Stress Analysis.
Experience in electronic systems schematic creation and interpretation, and Electronics Modeling/Simulation Software such as SPICE.
Experience in schematic capture using Zuken or similar software.
Experience performing failure investigations on electronic hardware (CCA, Unit, and System Level).
Strong communication and presentation skills to articulate complex technical issues to peers, stakeholders, subcontractors, and customers.
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and build positive relationships.
