The Test Equipment Engineering (TEE) Effectors team within the Hardware Discipline Directorate is a multi-discipline organization responsible for developing Production and Engineering test solutions for all Raytheon products. We are hands-on, designers using the latest technology and tools, and integrating state-of-the-art software solutions with the most advanced engineering systems in the world. TEE products are in engineering labs, in the field, and in production environments utilized for weapon system products. TEE has job opportunities across all phases of the engineering lifecycle, including demonstrations, early engineering tests, design verification tests, production, and post-production sustainment. The Test Equipment Engineering Directorate - AUR (All Up Round) Department seeks a M5 Senior Manager, Electrical Engineer who can lead a section of Electrical Engineer professionals responsible for all elements of Electrical Engineering Design through all lifecycles to include but not limited to development, transition to production, design verification, qualification, and Manufacturing Acceptance of final product going to the customer. The selected candidate will support and drive the development of electrical designs, interconnect designs, electrical system analysis and integrated development environment specified by the factory solutions and the TEE organization. You will establish meaningful and measurable goals and communicate effectively with your team to ensure alignment with the department and directorate. You will conduct formal and informal performance reviews and career development discussions with team members. What You Will Do
Supervise and lead a team of approximately 12 - 18 section members. The Section Lead role is anticipated to be approximately 15% of the work week, with the remainder of the work week charged to program contracts, within the TEE organization. Lead by example, adhere to, and ensure alignment with Raytheon Values and Behaviors. Ability to support both engineering and production test systems, test interface adapters, cabling, technical drawing creation, schematic creation, circuit design and analysis Collaborate with multi-discipline teams in the operation, testing and troubleshooting of systems. Provide independent health checks by evaluating program’s metrics. Involvement in center initiatives. Interact with Program Managers, Chief Engineers, Cross Product Team (CPT) / Directorate Leads, as well as other functional management to drive results to achieve program and business unit objectives. Support Test Equipment Engineering program hiring goals as well as lead the onboarding of new section personnel. Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience. Minimum of Eight (8) or more years of professional engineering design and/or delivery experience. Six (6) or more years of professional electrical engineering design experience or leading electrical engineering designers through the Raytheon design process. The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance. Experience with electrical engineering design to include troubleshooting, analysis, and test Qualifications We Prefer
Advanced STEM degree. ABET accreditation preferred. Experience presenting to leadership and peers. Previous experience with career development and personal skills development of team members Experience developing TE for production test environments Previous work experience developing artifacts as an electrical, software, mechanical, systems or configurable logic. Advanced experience performing analog, digital, and/or RF design Advanced experience designing, testing, and integrating digital, mixed signal, and electrical system interconnect Working understanding of the TEE One Page Process. Experience working in Agile development process Experience working with Program configuration management principles and tools such as IMS, PMX tools, or tracking books Knowledge of business and program improvements through process improvement methodologies.
