The Test Equipment Engineering (TEE) Effectors team within the Hardware Discipline Directorate develops production and engineering test solutions for Raytheon products. The TEE organization is hands-on, using the latest technology to integrate state-of-the-art software with advanced engineering systems. TEE opportunities span all phases of the engineering lifecycle, including demonstrations, early engineering tests, design verification tests, production, and post-production sustainment. The Electrical Section Lead will lead a section of Electrical Engineer professionals through all lifecycle elements from development to production and manufacture acceptance, supporting electrical designs, interconnects, system analysis, and relevant development environments as specified by factory solutions and the TEE organization. What You Will Do
Supervise and lead a team of approximately 12 - 18 section members. The Section Lead role is anticipated to be approximately 15% of the work week, with the remainder of the work week charged to program contracts, within the TEE organization. Lead by example, adhere to, and ensure alignment with Raytheon Values and Behaviors. Support both engineering and production test systems, test interface adapters, cabling, technical drawing creation, schematic creation, circuit design and analysis. Collaborate with multi-discipline teams in the operation, testing and troubleshooting of systems. Provide independent health checks by evaluating program metrics. Participate in center initiatives and interact with Program Managers, Chief Engineers, Cross Product Team / Directorate Leads, and other management to drive program and business objectives. Support Test Equipment Engineering program hiring goals and lead onboarding of new section personnel. Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience. Minimum of eight (8) or more years of professional engineering design and/or delivery experience. Six (6) or more years of professional electrical engineering design experience or leading electrical engineering designers through the Raytheon design process. Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance. Experience with electrical engineering design including troubleshooting, analysis, and test. Experience in a leadership role. Qualifications We Prefer
Advanced STEM degree. ABET accreditation preferred. Experience presenting to leadership and peers. Experience developing career and personal skills development of team members. Experience developing test equipment for production test environments. Experience developing artifacts as an electrical, software, mechanical, systems or configurable logic engineer. Advanced experience with analog, digital, and RF design. Advanced experience designing, testing, and integrating digital, mixed signal, and electrical system interconnects. Working understanding of the TEE One Page Process. Experience working in Agile development processes. Experience with program configuration management principles and tools (e.g., IMS, PMX, or tracking books). Knowledge of process improvements and methodologies to support business and program improvements. What We Offer

The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD.
