Base pay range: $85,000.00/yr – $111,525.00/yr
Location United States – near a JACOBS U.S. office “best” candidates accepted at any location.
Overview Advanced Manufacturing Civil Engineer – design land/site development, grading, stormwater, and drainage for state‑of‑the‑art industrial and commercial facilities.
Key Responsibilities
Site development, master planning and site selection
Underground utility routing and site space planning
Hydrology analysis for designing storm drain systems
Design of gravitational wastewater systems
Prepare final grading plans including cut, fill analysis and earthwork balancing
Provide erosion and sediment control plans, stormwater pollution prevention plans and support permit approval
Research and adhere to local Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) requirements
Stormwater analysis and modeling in software applications such as StormCAD and CivilStorm
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
At least 8 years of engineering experience with extensive project experience
Strong knowledge and experience in medium to large scale industrial development design modules
Demonstrated experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D design modules
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong analytical, problem‑solving and interpersonal skills
Ability to collaborate effectively in multi‑disciplinary teams
Displayed ability to learn quickly and driven to broaden knowledge base
Preferred
PE certification
Bluebeam experience
Experience using Navisworks
