What You Will Do JOB SUMMARY Support Operations and Electrical/Maintenance Departments by providing technical guidance and automation skills to minimize production downtime. Collaborate on designing and applying complex electronic systems, including programming, to achieve desired results. Contribute to projects and provide automation support to Electricians, Engineering Specialists, and Project Engineering teams. Partner with senior staff for implementation, testing, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of automation and control systems. Responsibilities include:
Applying knowledge of manufacturing equipment such as VFD, PLC, HMI, Networking, Control Panels, Industrial PCs, Robots, Servo Drives, Cameras, Scanners, Bar Code Readers, and more; supporting maintenance, troubleshooting, and system upgrades; maintaining spare parts inventory; analyzing equipment performance; calibrating instrumentation; supporting process improvements; performing backups; and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED with 3+ years of industry experience or Associate’s degree in Electronics with 1+ years of experience in controls and instrumentation. Must be 21 or older. Knowledge of manufacturing automation systems, electronics, and instrumentation. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Teams. Skills in planning, communication, problem-solving, and multitasking. Ability to convey technical concepts clearly, prioritize tasks, and work with diverse teams. Work Environment & Physical Demands Moderate physical effort; lifting up to 10 lbs; manual dexterity; working in various environments with temperature and noise considerations; exposure to potential hazards including bloodborne pathogens.
