Atlanta, GA Description

Core instructional design responsibilities and operational tasks related to coordination of in‑person and blended learning programs. Instructional deliverables should align with HealthStream content structure and design components. Instructional Design & Stakeholder Partnership

Consult with stakeholders and SMEs to assess learning needs, define objectives, and align solutions with organizational goals. Design and develop instructional materials using adult learning theory: facilitator guides, participant handouts, slide decks, job aids, assessments, practice activities, e‑Learnings. Research, write and edit content that is clear, engaging, and aligned with objectives, brand standards, accessibility guidelines. Recommend modalities and sequencing based on audience analysis and business goals. Ensure materials follow HealthStream structure and design conventions for smooth transition to platform teams. Align materials with EHC instructional design standards. Support blended learning by aligning instructor‑led and digital components cohesively. Provide instructional design consultation when full‑service design is not possible, supporting SMEs to create content aligned with adult learning principles and design standards.

Project Management

Manage multiple design projects concurrently, balancing timelines, stakeholder expectations, and scope. Maintain project documentation: intake forms, design briefs, feedback cycles, final deliverables. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure alignment with standards, timelines, and rollout goals. Track design decisions and maintain version control for instructional assets.

Evaluation & Continuous Improvement

Design and implement evaluation strategies aligned with EHC Instructional Design Standards, assessing satisfaction, knowledge acquisition, behavior change, and business impact. Use pre/post assessments, surveys, facilitator debriefs, observation checklists. Partner with stakeholders to define success metrics and align tools accordingly. Analyze learner feedback, participation data, and performance outcomes to inform future content improvements. Document findings and contribute to team‑level continuous improvement practices.

Operations

Coordinate and manage logistics for instructor‑led and blended training programs: scheduling, room setup, materials preparation, technical checks. Provide onsite support during training sessions to troubleshoot issues and ensure a positive learning experience. Support facilitators with onboarding, walkthroughs, and access to necessary materials and tools. Partner with administrative and facilities teams across locations to ensure space readiness and delivery consistency.

Additional duties as assigned. Travel between Operating Units may be required. Work Type: Hybrid employee – splits time between remote work and office work. Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in instructional design, adult education, or related field; or equivalent professional experience. 3+ years of instructional design experience creating learning solutions across various formats and modalities; experience leading projects using ADDIE or similar model. Additional Information

A portfolio of instructional materials may be requested during the interview process. Skills, Abilities, & Knowledge

Strong writing and instructional development skills across various formats. Expertise and experience with authoring tools: Articulate Rise, Storyline, Canva. Strong interpersonal and organizational skills; experience managing multiple priorities. Preferred Qualifications
