Overview
This is a Senior Controls Engineer role focused on automation strategy, OT cybersecurity, and process optimization within a world-class production facility. The position leads automation strategy, strengthens OT cybersecurity, and enhances process control systems to improve plant performance and reliability. The expanding manufacturing plant includes multiple production areas producing high-performance fibers and composites. In this high‑impact role, you will transform operational challenges into advanced control system solutions that support data-driven decision‑making and future-ready manufacturing. What You'll Do
Architect and deploy
robust automation systems, including
DCS, SCADA, MES , and
data historians . Sustain and improve
process control systems to ensure consistent product quality and operational excellence. Lead
system upgrades and migrations
to align with evolving regulatory, safety, and production requirements. Champion
OT cybersecurity best practices , embedding them into daily operations and system architecture. Troubleshoot complex issues across a multi‑platform
automation and controls ecosystem . Support
real-time data analytics
and integrate tools that enhance operational visibility and decision-making. Develop and enforce standards for
system reliability, scalability, and process consistency . Serve as the
process control lead
for capital projects, site expansions, and technology transitions. Mentor junior engineers
and foster collaboration across teams (process, quality, instrumentation, and performance). Join the
automation on‑call rotation
to support 24/7 plant operations. Ensure compliance with all
safety, environmental, and operational standards . What You Bring
Bachelor's degree in
Controls, Electrical, or related Engineering field 7+
years of hands‑on experience in automation and process control within a manufacturing environment. Proven expertise in
DCS, SCADA, and process automation systems
– Siemens
PCS7 and TIA Portal
experience required. In‑depth understanding of
OT cybersecurity : threats, vulnerabilities, and prevention strategies. Strong
analytical, troubleshooting, and systems thinking
skills. Familiarity with
ICS infrastructure , Microsoft operating systems, and industrial network protocols. Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship. This is more than just a technical role — it''s an opportunity to
