Marion, Virginia. You will be the Quality Engineer Staff for the Quality Engineering team which is responsible for applying quality principles to ensure high-quality products and processes. What You Will Be Doing
As the Quality Engineer Staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of products and processes by applying quality principles in design, production control, product evaluation, and research and development. Your responsibilities will include: Performing technical evaluations of product requirements, specifications, models/designs, drawings, and procedures Collaborating with program management, engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and customers on quality-related issues Developing strategies and systems to improve internal and supplier performance and productivity Conducting product quality tests and performing statistical analysis to assess products or materials that do not meet required standards and specifications Evaluating quality systems for deficiency identification and correction What’s In It For You

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must possess an active Secret clearance to start. Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 9 years of professional experience; or 7 years of professional experience with a related Master's degree. Demonstrated ability to work at all levels of organization to identify and drive systemic root cause and corrective action utilizing quantitative, qualitative analytical capabilities. Must be a US Citizen and have ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance. Desired Skills:
Excellent interpersonal skills needed for collaboration, communication, and presentations. Be able to present and interface with program and senior customers Experience in Quality Management Systems, e.g., International (ISO), National (AS) standards. Specifically AS9100, AS9102, AS9145 Proficient in GD&T, Interpretation of Engineering Process Specifications, and First Article Inspection (FAI) Composite processes and manufacturing Green Belt, Black Belt, ASQ CQE or CMQQE training/certification Quality science expertise in the following areas: statistical analysis, statistical process control, sampling, six sigma, FAI, PPAP, PFMEA, process auditing or validation, and supplier quality management Data analytics skills, Microsoft suite experience: Excel, Work, PowerPoint, and Outlook Security Clearance Statement:
