responsibilities:
Deeply understand customer needs and position our products as the optimal solution. Develop and deliver compelling solution demonstrations. Provide exceptional leadership throughout the trial, implementation, and ongoing customer success phases. Participate in all relevant product, sales, and procedural training and certifications to maintain expert-level knowledge. Achieve quarterly and annual sales objectives set by management. Respond effectively and strategically to Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
qualifications:
Requirements (Must-Haves):
3+ years of experience in a customer-facing role such as sales, sales engineering, consulting, product management/marketing, or training. Proven ability to understand customer needs, develop technical sales strategies, and effectively demonstrate solutions. Strong desire to leverage both technical and sales skills to drive business value. Excellent problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail. Exceptional oral, written, and presentation communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with executives. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team to resolve technical challenges in diverse environments.
Preferences (Nice-to-Haves):
Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science or Engineering. Experience with price negotiation and successfully closing deals. Knowledge of related applications, relational databases, and web technology. Experience with business analysis, including the ability to define project goals from stakeholder interests. Ability to plan, schedule, and track project timelines and milestones. Ability to travel domestically (50% - 70% may be required).

Sales Acumen: Prospecting, lead qualification, negotiation, closing deals, sales strategy development, RFP response. Technical Proficiency: Product demonstrations, solution configuration, technical objection handling, understanding of technology infrastructure, knowledge of relational databases and web technology (preferred). Customer Relationship Management: Customer success, client engagement, issue resolution, long-term relationship building. Communication: Oral and written communication, presentation skills, executive-level interaction, active listening. Problem-Solving: Analytical thinking, troubleshooting, critical thinking, attention to detail. Collaboration: Teamwork, cross-functional partnership (especially with implementation teams). Business Intelligence: Business analysis, understanding stakeholder interests, project planning, project tracking.
