Occupational Health Nurse (Staff)

Collaborates with Human Resources to monitor medical leave, disability, workers' compensation, employee exams, lab testing, fit for duty exams, and medical placement exams. Manages and safeguards all medical records in compliance with company policies and federal laws. Administers medication following company protocols and state Nurse Practice Act rules. This role, at a professional level, involves independent work or project contributions requiring advanced knowledge and decision-making skills. The candidate applies company policies to resolve issues of moderate scope, exercises judgment within standard practices, and builds productive relationships. Works under limited supervision with general instructions on routine tasks and detailed guidance on new projects. Qualifications include: Licensed Practical Nurse or Bachelor's degree in nursing At least 2 years of nursing experience Active in-state Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse license Current American Heart Association Health Professional CPR card Or: Occupational Health Nurse Specialist (COHN) certification At least 4 years of nursing experience Active in-state Registered Nurse license Current American Heart Association Health Professional CPR card This position is entry-level, contract-based, within the healthcare provider industry, and part of staffing and recruiting.
