Senior Pricing Operations Specialist – Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP
Join our global partnership as a Senior Pricing Operations Specialist. In this role you manage client negotiated rates, support pricing and billing negotiations, and drive continuous improvement of pricing operations processes.
Responsibilities
Document and maintain client fee arrangement information in collaboration with Global Client Account, Strategic Pricing, and partners.
Support year‑end client rate review, partner outreach, and creation of accurate rate cards.
Implement negotiated billing arrangements and alternative fee structures in Aderant, ensuring accurate billing and reporting.
Audit fee arrangements and matter set‑ups, and prepare rate sheets for client submission via E‑billing.
Review client outside counsel guidelines, summarize key finance provisions, and maintain compliance guidelines in Aderant.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives for Pricing Operations processes and systems, including workflow implementation and training of Global Client Account teams.
Assist the Pricing Operations Manager with ad‑hoc requests such as timekeeper analysis.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required; MBA, MS or advanced degree a plus.
Minimum 5 years of billing, e‑billing, pricing, or related experience in a corporate or law firm setting.
Detail‑oriented, well‑organized, with excellent writing, communication, and analytical skills.
Strong technology aptitude, continuous learning mindset, and ability to prioritize in a fast‑paced environment.
Willingness to work weekends and evenings as needed.
Advanced MS Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP) and proficiency in Word and PowerPoint.
Compensation & Benefits The estimated base salary range for this position is $105,000 to $115,000. The actual salary offered will depend on a variety of job‑related factors, including skills, education, and performance. This role is non‑exempt meaning it is overtime pay eligible.
