As a Business Banking Officer, you will actively pursue business relationships for NBH Bank. Provide a full range of banking services with an emphasis on loan and deposit business products, with a goal of earning 100% of the client's relationship. Focus on government-guaranteed loans (primarily SBA 7a and 504). Collaborate with the bank's SBA department on SBA production, pipeline, and closings. Proactively call on clients, prospects and referral sources to ensure maximum results. Achieve sales and service goals individually and help lead the banking center’s goals on a quarterly and annual basis. Work with staff to develop and implement individual goals and objectives against established standards for improving the competitive position of Bank Midwest/Hillcrest Bank/Community Banks of Colorado. Participate in community and business functions to ensure a positive image for the bank and establish referral contacts within the community. Critically review, analyze, and structure business loans. Monitor loan portfolio performance by maintaining contact with borrowers and resolving issues when appropriate. Promote the bank's image in the community by participating in community activities, coordinating development efforts, and presenting a favorable image that leads to new business opportunities. Identify market trends that may impact clients and use our solutions to provide opportunities to further partner. Create, train, and coach a sales team to serve clients’ total financial needs, aiming for greater market share, wallet share, and profitability. Manage relationships with various business partner entities to ensure cross-sales and maintain service quality and client satisfaction. Build rapport with clients and fellow associates and treat others with respect and consideration. Minimum Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or equivalent combination of education and work experience. 5+ years of successful commercial or small business lending. 5+ years of banking experience. 5+ years of successful business-to-business development experience. Working knowledge and understanding of SBA products, standard operating procedures, forms and documents, and eligibility requirements. Desired Skills

Ideal candidates should possess some or all of the following: Master's degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience. 7+ years of successful commercial or small business lending. 9+ years of banking experience. Completion of a bank training or formal credit training program. Strong credit background with ability to analyze financial statements, underwrite loans, and prepare loan presentations for approval by credit committees. Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate issues. Creative thinking and resourcefulness. Strong interpersonal skills to build peer and team cohesiveness. Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment. Ability to prioritize competing demands and manage multiple tasks and/or projects. Proficient in MS Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Work Environment
