Actively pursue business relationships for NBH Bank and provide a full range of banking services with emphasis on loan and deposit products. Aim to earn 100% of the client’s relationship and focus on government-guaranteed loans (SBA 7a and 504). Collaborate with the bank’s SBA department on SBA production, pipeline, and closings. Proactively call on clients/prospects/referral sources to maximize results. Acquire, expand, and retain business banking relationships with an emphasis on deposit, treasury, and business lending growth. Participate in community and business functions to promote a positive image for the bank and establish referral contacts within the community. Achieve specific sales and service goals individually and lead the banking center’s goals on a quarterly and annual basis. Work with staff to develop and implement individual goals aligned with established standards to improve competitive position. Critically review, analyze, and structure business loans; monitor portfolio performance by maintaining borrower contact and resolving issues as appropriate. Promote the Bank’s image through community involvement and development efforts to generate new business opportunities. Identify market trends impacting clients and leverage solutions to create opportunities for partnership. Create, train, and coach a successful sales team focused on serving clients’ total financial needs and increasing market share, wallet share, and profitability. Manage relationships with various business partners to ensure cross-sales and deliver high-quality service to maintain client satisfaction and build rapport. Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent combination of education and work experience. 5+ years of successful commercial or small business lending. 5+ years of banking experience. 5+ years of successful business-to-business development experience. Working knowledge of SBA products, procedures, forms, documents, and eligibility requirements. Desired Skills
Master’s degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience. 7+ years of successful commercial or small business lending. 9+ years of banking experience. Completion of a bank training or formal credit training program. Strong credit background with ability to analyze financial statements, underwrite loans, and prepare loan presentations for approval. Strong oral and written communication skills to clearly articulate issues. Creative thinking and resourcefulness in meeting challenges. Strong interpersonal skills to build peer and team cohesiveness. Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment. Ability to prioritize competing demands and manage multiple tasks/projects. Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Work Environment
