Duties & Responsibilities: Enter data for quantities of parts issued and transferred between locations, inventory and cycle count adjustments, into a computer database. Close shop packets received and purge the computer database. Receive and issue finished goods into the computer database. Troubleshoot quantity discrepancies with manufacturing and inspection personnel. Record and monitor all items with shelf-life daily and notify appropriate personnel when material has expired. Prepare monthly reports for cycle count and pick-lists count for monthly highlights. Prepare and participate in yearly physical inventory. Requirements: High school diploma or GED required Experience in a computerized accounting system required Thorough working knowledge of MS Office, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook required. Technical Capacity Organizational Skills Decision Making Initiative Physical Demands: Must be able to remain seated 60% of the time Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment and warehouse Must be able to communicate with management and coworkers and exchange accurate information. Mental Demands: Must be able to problem solve and prioritize tasks Must be able to manage stress depending on deadlines Must be able to multitask and stay organized while performing job duties Must be able to receive information and directions Must be able to quickly communicate solutions if problems occur Must be able to demonstrate a high degree of sound judgment and initiative Company Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability & Life Insurance 401k Paid holidays & vacation days This company is a national building materials distributor with opportunities for growth and advancement.
