Responsibilities
As the
Assistant General Manager
at Baldwin Hills Crenshaw Plaza, support the AVP of Asset Management in all aspects of daily property operations and serve as the on-site leader managing property staff to ensure top-tier operations.
Help execute the annual business plan, advance long-term strategic objectives, and optimize NOI performance.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders (VP of Asset Management, Operations Manager) and external partners (community partners, investors, joint venture participants) to achieve goals.
Oversee tenant and vendor relationships to ensure smooth on-site activities that meet strategic and operational targets.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in retail, office, or mixed-use property management.
Solid expertise in financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, lease interpretation, and reporting.
Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams while driving operational performance and process improvements.
Strong tenant relations, vendor oversight, and problem-solving skills to maintain high customer satisfaction.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) with flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and participate in Manager-on-Duty rotations.

$90,000 - $100,000

Build and maintain strong relationships with tenants, vendors, and community partners to drive satisfaction and property visibility.
Lead, train, and motivate the property management team, ensuring accountability and professional development.
Conduct regular property inspections, monitor KPIs, and implement process improvements to uphold top-tier standards.
