As an Engineering Manager at Privy, you will lead, grow, and shape high-performing engineering teams that make a massive impact on our product and industry. Own long-term team outcomes and the success of Privy’s product and business Hold the team accountable to excellence in quality, throughput, and performance Coach engineers toward growth and their career goals Foster a supportive, fun, motivating, and celebratory team culture Define roles that lean into the unique strengths of each individual Ensure the team works on the right scope of work and interfaces with other parts of the org Review PRs and design docs to stay close to the metal and fill gaps as a player-coach Partner with the team’s Tech Lead to drive successful engineering and product outcomes Who you are

Published about your work (code, presentations, papers, blog posts, etc.) Experience in an API-based business and in payments, fintech, or crypto is a plus Pay and benefits
The annual US base salary range for this role is
$236,000 - $354,000 . Additional benefits may include equity, company bonus or sales commissions/bonuses; 401(k); medical, dental, and vision benefits; and wellness stipends. Applicants not located in the US may request the annual salary range for their location during the interview process. In-office expectations
Office-assigned Stripe employees are generally expected to spend at least 50% of their time in the local office or with users. This may vary by role, team, and location. Some sites (e.g., Bucharest) have higher in-office expectations, while others may be fully in-office depending on role. Hiring managers will discuss expectations. Seniority level
