This role is located in Ogden, UT, and will support the USAF Sentinel program Engineering and Manufacturing Development (EMD) phase. Project overview and responsibilities reflect work on electrical systems for DOD/USAF projects as part of the Sentinel program. Requisition ID: 287476 Major Responsibilities

Level I - Evaluates, selects, and applies standard electrical engineering methods, techniques, procedures, and criteria for a small size project or assignment. Designs, develops, modifies, and evaluates components and processes utilizing relevant Engineering Department Procedures (EDPs), design standards and guides, and Bechtel Standard Application Programs (BSAPs). Prepares or assists in preparation of studies, designs, reports, or proposals. Coordinates electrical engineering efforts with other engineering disciplines, the client, vendor, contractors, construction, and other functional groups. Provides assistance to project and construction management in identifying and complying with project electrical requirements. Level II - Plans and conducts independent electrical work requiring judgment in the evaluation, selection, application, and adaptation of electrical engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria on a medium size project. Supports preparation of estimates, staffing needs, and schedules. Prepares or oversees the preparation of discipline estimates and work plans in accordance with project scope, schedule and budget. Coordinates with client representatives, as directed, to obtain their approvals. Supports design development of electrical systems and equipment design for the Sentinel project by preparing engineering studies, drawings, calculations, specifications, and evaluations, in accordance with applicable procedures, codes, standards, and contract requirements. Develops new design drawings such as single lines, panel schedules, schematics, cable block diagrams, grounding, lightning protection, cathodic protection, and more. Performs power system analysis modeling and calculations utilizing ETAP (Load Flow, Short Circuit, Motor Starting, Relay Coordination, Arc Flash). Other facility calculations include lighting design, facility ground grid sizing, and underground cable thermal de-rating analysis. Performs equipment sizing calculations such as transformers, panel boards, uninterruptable power supplies, and battery sizing calculations. Develops equipment and material specifications utilizing the software SpecsIntact. Develops procurement documentation and performs supplier proposal evaluations. Coordinates systems requirement development and verifications with systems engineering and the client. Education and Experience Requirements

Level I: Requires bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (or international equivalent) and 8-10 years of relevant experience. Level II: Requires bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (or international equivalent) and 10-13 years of relevant experience. Must be a United States Citizen. Must be able to complete and pass pre-employment drug screen and background check. Required Knowledge and Skills

Relevant experience includes drawings, calculations, and specifications for electrical systems and equipment on nuclear or industrial process facilities, data centers, central utility plants, or complex building electrical systems. US citizenship is required per contract requirement. Possess active security clearance or ability to obtain security clearance. Experience with Microsoft Office programs and other common computer programs. Excellent communication skills (verbal and written). Ability to utilize engineering and office automation tools effectively. Knowledge of industry and regulatory guides, codes, and standards. Broad knowledge of the application of electrical engineering design principles. Strong knowledge of electrical systems for part of, or all of, the responsibilities listed above. Strong understanding of engineering drawings, systems calculations, equipment sizing and cable sizing. Strong knowledge of power systems load modeling and analysis. Total Rewards/Benefits
