Senior Electrical Engineer , you’ll contribute to projects that enable the heart of our clients’ manufacturing. This is a hybrid position in Portland, Oregon; well-qualified candidates in the U.S. will also be considered. You’ll have the chance to work on projects, including semiconductor and other state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities. You will oversee designer work, provide team technical leadership, perform quality reviews of design packages, and assist directly with complex portions of the design process. You’ll interact with clients, owners, and contractors to assist construction on site. Responsibilities include engineering and design oversight for facility power distribution systems, grounding, lighting, and low voltage communications systems in very complex industrial facilities. You and the team will establish design requirements and produce construction documents, prepare technical specifications and documents for bidding and construction, and may serve as the Electrical discipline lead or Quality Control reviewer in project meetings. You will participate in project proposals and suggest solutions to clients’ problems. Responsibilities

Provide engineering and design oversight for facility power distribution systems, grounding, lighting, and low voltage communications.

Lead design teams, perform quality reviews of design packages, and support on-site construction activities.

Prepare technical specifications and construction documents; participate in project meetings as Electrical discipline lead or quality reviewer.

Interact with clients, owners, and contractors to ensure design requirements are met and projects progress smoothly.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering

At least 12 years of engineering design experience of building electrical systems

Electrical design experience for semiconductor or mission-critical facilities

Solid working knowledge of NFPA 70 (NEC) and IEEE standards

Extensive design experience with electrical power system equipment/components (switchgears, transformers, panelboards, generators, UPS, etc.)

Experience with power system software, preferably ETAP

Effective verbal and written communication skills

Team lead experience

Preferred/Ideal

Professional Engineer (PE) license

Senior technical leadership experience

Working knowledge of Revit or BIM software

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

The base salary range for this position is $132,900.00 to $180,000.00. Within the range, pay is determined by work location and other factors including job-related skills, experience, and education or training.
