Field Service Technician - Mechanical
Pay: $30-$35/hr
50-70% Travel
Key Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical and electrical equipment at customer facilities. Work with suppliers and customers to resolve service requirements. Provide recommendations for the repair or replacement of parts. Complete detailed service and expense reports in a timely manner. Follow all customer plant and safety regulations. Support warranty and non-warranty claims and follow up on issue resolution. Be available for on-call support on a rotational basis. Assist other department staff and take on temporary or permanent assignments as needed. Qualifications:
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent; technical training preferred. 3-6 years of hands-on mechanical/electrical experience. Proficiency with hand tools, meters, gauges, and devices. Ability to read and interpret electrical/mechanical drawings and manuals. Strong customer service and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Seniority level:
