Mechanical Engineer / Project Manager
with hands-on HVAC design experience and the leadership skills to drive commercial and healthcare projects from kickoff through construction. This role blends technical design work with client-facing project management. You'll be a key player in a collaborative team, owning your work and relationships from start to finish — and helping shape sustainable, high-performance building systems along the way. What You’ll Do: Design HVAC Systems:
Perform load calculations, equipment selection, and layout design for commercial, healthcare, and institutional facilities.
Manage Projects:
Lead design efforts and coordinate project milestones, schedules, and documentation across disciplines.
Oversee Documentation:
Produce construction drawings in
Revit and AutoCAD , ensuring accuracy, clarity, and code compliance.
Collaborate Cross-Functionally:
Work directly with clients, architects, consultants, and internal teams to deliver on time and on budget.
Support Client Development:
Build and maintain strong relationships that foster repeat business and referrals.
What You Bring: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME)
5+ years of HVAC design experience in commercial and/or healthcare sectors
Experience managing projects or serving as a key project coordinator
Proficiency in
Revit and AutoCAD
is a must
Knowledge of DX, chilled water, pumps, cooling towers, and related systems
Familiarity with applicable design codes and standards
EIT preferred (PE track a plus)
