We’re looking for experienced Superintendents in geotechnical or civil construction who can manage teams and projects effectively.

This is a travel position with projects across the Eastern US. Crews work a 3-week on, 1-week off schedule. We specialize in emergency response to landslides, rockfall mitigation, and grouting, using design/build and warranty contracting. Responsibilities

Managing teams to install geohazard mitigation products per drawings and operating procedures. Following the PISTOL process, with emphasis on pre-construction planning. Creating and executing safety plans to ensure crew safety. Planning and managing projects using the daily management process (+QDIPC). Monitoring project performance, including schedule and budget adherence. Maintaining compliance through logs, checklists, documentation, and reporting. Managing crew relations, performance reviews, coaching, and disciplinary actions. Handling crew travel logistics. Ensuring equipment maintenance and cleanliness. Adhering to quality and testing protocols. Fostering teamwork and effective communication across all project functions. Maintaining excellent client communication skills. Qualifications

Minimum 5 years in the construction industry, preferably geotechnical, including project management and knowledge of building products and services. At least 1 year of superintendent experience. Ability to interpret scopes, blueprints, and specifications accurately, meeting profitability goals. Proven leadership in motivating teams to deliver quality projects on time. Experience managing multiple projects and crews simultaneously. Strong communication skills. Ability to work cross-functionally. Flexible schedule to meet business needs. Proficiency with company-provided hardware and web-based systems. Valid driver’s license (CDL A preferred). Ability to operate pneumatic, battery-powered, or electric tools. Willingness to travel extensively. Work Environment

The environment varies from tropical to desert climates. Noise levels are moderate, and hearing protection is often required. Exposure to typical construction site hazards and heavy lifting (75 lbs+). Reasonable accommodations are available for individuals with disabilities. Travel

Up to 100% travel across the U.S. Compensation

This is a salaried, non-exempt role paid weekly at an hourly rate of $33-40. Average total compensation in 2024 exceeded $120,000 including bonuses and overtime. Annual bonus and stock ownership plan. 100% paid travel expenses. Benefits
