The Edit Picton
is a stunning hotel located by the harbour, the perfect location to explore the dramatic local coastline and New Zealand wine country. This 49-room boutique hotel has recently been refurbished and is looking for a career-driven Duty Manager to join its leadership team. Having completed a refurbishment and rebranding successfully, it's the perfect time for a seasoned professional to make their mark. You will oversee the overall operations of the Edit Picton, ensuring every aspect of guest services runs smoothly and efficiently. As the supervisor of both Front Office and Food & Beverage, you will work hands on with a small team, setting a high bar for service delivery. Under the mentorship and guidance of the Guest Experience Manager and Hotel GM, you'll develop the skills and expertise needed to thrive, preparing you for eventual growth and development within Edit Hotels and Resorts & Fable Hotels & Resorts, operated by CPG Hotels. Responsibilities
Oversee overall hotel operations at Edit Picton to ensure guest services run smoothly and efficiently. Supervise Front Office and Food & Beverage teams; work hands-on with a small team and set a high standard for service delivery. Collaborate with the Guest Experience Manager and Hotel GM to develop skills and pursue growth opportunities within Edit Hotels and Resorts & Fable Hotels & Resorts. Qualifications
Previous experience and success as a manager in Front Office and/or Food & Beverage in a hotel environment. Excellent command of both verbal and written English. Comfortable working hands-on at Front Desk and Food & Beverage. The ability to work morning, evening, and weekend shifts on a full-time roster. A current Manager's Certificate or LCQ. Current eligibility to work in NZ is a must. What we offer
