Senior Director, Enterprise Program Leadership Strategy Realization Role Overview : The Senior Director, Enterprise Program Leadership Strategy Realization leads multi-divisional realization programs to ensure successful execution of strategic initiatives. This role reports to the Vice President of the Strategy Management Office (SMO) and is accountable for program, initiative, and SMO-level results. The Senior Director provides subject matter expertise to senior and divisional leaders, develops initial hypotheses, frameworks, and methodologies, and coordinates with the SMO VP on strategic direction. The role ensures programs are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

Enterprise Program Leadership: Manage and ensure successful execution of multidivisional realization programs and initiatives that support more than one divisional strategic imperative; ensure alignment with long-term goals.

Subject Matter Expertise and Problem Solving: Provide expertise to senior/divisional leaders; independently analyze problems and develop frameworks and methodologies.

Decision Oversight and Role Complexity: Coordinate with the SMO VP on strategic direction and executive engagements; manage initiative teams and SMO resources; implement industry best practices; partner with senior leaders and Realization Initiative Leads.

Project Management: Oversee planning, execution, and completion of enterprise programs; ensure delivery on time, within scope, and within budget.

Performance Metrics and Reporting: Establish and track metrics; present outcomes and insights to senior leadership and stakeholders.

Value Capture: Identify and realize value opportunities; monitor progress and highlight risks.

Strategic Change Execution: Facilitate stakeholder engagement and align teams to achieve goals; apply change management techniques.

Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process enhancement and foster adoption of best practices.

Communications: Lead creation of project and initiative communications to drive engagement and adoption of recommendations.

Qualifications and Experience

MBA or advanced degree in science or business.

Minimum of 3–6 years of management consulting experience supporting pharma or life sciences, or equivalent.

Minimum of 12–15+ years of industry-related experience in pharma or life sciences, with exposure to Agile, Design Thinking, Lean Six Sigma, data analytics, and programming (Python).

Proven track record of developing action plans, executing them, and leading value-delivering projects. PMP preferred.

Experience in large transformational efforts or complex consulting environments; ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.

Financial acumen with experience in analytics, planning, forecasting, actuals, and reporting.

Ability to distill complex information into decision-making frameworks; thrive in complex matrix environments.

Proficient communication and presentation skills; strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.

Experience with enterprise integration is a plus.

Preferred: proficiency in data analytics tools and technologies (SQL, Python, R) and data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI).
