School Based Health Center Consultant
Join the New Mexico Department of Health as a School Based Health Center Consultant. The Office of School and Adolescent Health (OSAH) provides resources and technical assistance to educational staff, physical and behavioral health professionals, and youth serving community organizations to help them develop sustainable health systems for children and youth in schools and communities. The SBHC Consultant will be responsible for training, technical assistance, contracting, budgeting, planning, implementation and evaluation of New Mexico SBHCs. The position will oversee and facilitate contracting requirements and reporting activities as necessary, promote, organize, and facilitate multiple strategies for providing adolescent health services, and collect and analyze impact data. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree and 2 years of experience in facilitation of curriculum to large audiences of all ages, knowledge of virtual and in person delivery of content, and proficiency in Microsoft office. The minimum qualification is an Associate's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Guidance and Counseling, Education, Sociology, Criminal Justice, Criminology, Family Studies/Services, Social Sciences, or Human Services and one year of experience as a social work assistant and/or in social or community coordination. The employee must possess and maintain a valid Driver's License and a current Defensive Driving Course Certificate from the State of New Mexico. The work will be done in an office setting with exposure to visual/video display terminal (VTD) and extensive personal computer and phone usage. Bachelor's Degree 2 years of experience in facilitation of curriculum to large audiences of all ages Knowledge of virtual and in person delivery of content Proficient in Microsoft office Experience in collaboration and partnering with diverse youth serving organizations This position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement and all terms/conditions of that agreement apply and must be adhered to. The salary range is $26.57 - $39.86 Hourly, $55,273 - $82,909 Annually.
