Hematology Medical Oncology Surgical Oncology Progressive Care/Step Down (PCU) Responsibilities
The Staff Nurse functions as a member of a care team cultivating collaboration, enthusiasm, and mutual respect. The role provides patient care and supportive services aimed at achieving positive patient outcomes, involving patients in their own plan of care, reducing length of stay, and controlling costs. The Staff Nurse is responsible for assessing, prescribing, implementing, coordinating, delegating, and evaluating the nursing care of patients. The nurse prioritizes patient care needs, provides leadership to and development of the patient care team, and supervises nursing care provided by other team members. Qualifications
Graduate from a CCNE- or ACEN-accredited nursing program; current licensure or interim permit as a registered nurse in the State of Ohio; previous experience in a relevant care setting preferred; BSN preferred. Details
