Overview

AHC SGMC Behavioral Health in Rockville, MD is hiring a Psychiatric Technician for the Behavioral Health Department. Qualified candidates with inpatient psych experience may be eligible for a $5,000 sign-on bonus. Current AHC employees are not eligible for the sign-on bonus when transferring between entities. Responsibilities

Facilitates patient-professional collaboration at all levels of health care. Monitors therapeutic treatment. Recognizes and values differences in the care team and creates a setting conducive to opinion-sharing. Collaborates with the treatment team to develop patient care protocols and procedures. Incorporates clinical guidelines into patient care. Uses information technology to deliver safe and efficient care. Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years in related field High School Diploma or GED Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required Prior experience in inpatient behavioral health setting preferred Work Schedule

Adult Psychotic Disorders Unit Day Shift: 1845-0715, 3 12-hour shifts/week, rotating weekend/holiday requirement Salary and Benefits

Pay Range:

$19.64 - $25.65 Note:

If the salary range is listed as $0 or if the position is Per Diem (with a fixed rate), salary discussions will take place during the screening process. FLSA Classification:

Current AHC employees are not eligible for a sign-on bonus when transferring between entities or within their entity. Employees terminated and re-hired may be ineligible for six months if the position offers a sign-on bonus. Other Information
