Job Title: Production Manager Industry: Defense / Aerospace / High-Tech Manufacturing On-site Location: Woodbridge, VA Relocation Provided: Yes Salary Range: $150,000 - $175,000 Job Overview:

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership in production management, a deep understanding of electro-mechanical assemblies, and a commitment to operational excellence through quality control, lean manufacturing, and process improvement. Minimum Requirements: 5+ years of experience in production management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role, with some experience in the aerospace & defense industry Strong background in

electro-mechanical assemblies

and advanced manufacturing processes. In-depth knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, 5S, and continuous improvement strategies, certifications are a plus. Proven experience in resolving

complex production issues with assembly . Proficiency with ERP systems and job order management (MS Dynamics or similar). Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills. Ability to make quick decisions and problem-solve effectively in a dynamic environment. Proven experience in maintaining high performance standards and exceeding production & safety targets Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field Responsibilities: Supervise electro-mechanical assembly processes for high-quality product output. Ensure production meets safety, quality, and performance standards. Coordinate with procurement, engineering, and logistics to meet production goals. Enforce quality control procedures and conduct audits for compliance. Use ERP systems to manage schedules, inventory, and job orders accurately. Apply lean manufacturing and 5S principles to improve efficiency and maintain a safe, organized workspace. Analyze data to optimize production methods and enhance output quality. Identify and resolve production challenges using root cause analysis. Monitor production metrics to anticipate and prevent disruptions. Drive continuous improvement initiatives in quality and workflow. Lead, mentor, and schedule production staff to ensure high performance and team collaboration.
