Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant – Inpatient/Outpatient Pediatric Pulmonary

Work Schedule: 100% FTE; core hours between 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.
Responsibilities
To support an outpatient setting focusing on asthma, BPD, CF, as well as other pediatric pulmonary conditions.
Work with collaborative interdisciplinary clinic practice, with opportunity for Leadership, Education and Professional Development, and additional opportunities in Community Outreach and Research
Be responsible for the health maintenance, episodic care, and ongoing monitoring and management of chronic health problems to the new and returning patient in APP independent clinics
To serve as a provider in one or more of the division's multidisciplinary clinics and/or regional clinics.
To provide cross coverage of inpatient pediatric pulmonary service
Education Minimum -
If Nurse Practitioner:
Master’s or Doctorate’s degree from accredited Nursing Program
If Physician Assistant:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from accredited PA Program.
Licenses and Certifications Minimum -
If Nurse Practitioner:
Active RN and APNP license in State of Wisconsin AND Active board certification as a NP in the following: Acute Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner or Primary Care Nurse Practitioner.
If Physician Assistant:
Active PA license in State of Wisconsin AND active PA board certification.
All Nurse Practitioner and Physician Assistant applicants must have: Active DEA license or ability to apply for such license prior to or upon hire. CPR certification and advanced life support certifications if relevant to practice area (ACLS, PALS, NRP)
