This role is for the LPN Medication Care Manager who administers medications and treatments in a safe, organized manner, in alignment with Sunrise Senior Living policies and applicable laws and regulations. Medication Administration: provide the highest degree of quality care by administering medications and treatments; review and document in the electronic health record; receive medication updates from the Resident Care Director (RCD) or Wellness Nurse; administer and observe medications using the Six Rights of Medication Pass; maintain and restock medication carts; ensure proper documentation for refusals or missed doses; maintain confidentiality of resident information; report concerns and unavailable medications; assist with narcotic counts with another MCM or Lead Care Manager; ensure clean and organized Medication Room and carts; follow medication refill processes; promote resident independence and dignity; practice standard care precautions; audit medication carts. Resident Care: notify the RCD of resident or family concerns; participate in daily Cross Over meetings; conduct Service and Health Updates; participate in ISP development; transcribe orders. Risk Management and Safety: ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations; use PPE, fire safety equipment, SDS, and Lockout/Tagout; report accidents and unsafe conditions; manage hazards and ensure safe storage of equipment and supplies; comply with infection control techniques and bloodborne pathogen protocols; manage oxygen tanks safety and monitoring. Training and Team Contribution: participate as a team member, uphold Sunrise values, engage in engagement programs and surveys, attend required meetings and trainings, may serve as shift supervisor or supervise other MCMs; maintain required trainings and compliance with regulations. Core Competencies: sound decision making in residents’ best interest; stay calm in difficult situations; handle multiple priorities; strong written and verbal communication; good judgment and problem solving. Experience and Qualifications

LPN/LVN or state/province-licensed nurse credential; maintain required certifications where applicable (CPR and First Aid). Minimum age 18; prior experience with seniors preferred; desire to serve and care for seniors. About Sunrise
