Engineering Leader – Boydton, VA at M.C. These projects range from $50 million to more than $200 million, with square footage of 500,000 to 800,000 and teams of 30-400 people depending on project stage. This is a technical leadership role rather than management of personnel. An engineering leader will be involved with electrical, power, and modular design; ideally with expertise in industrialized construction processes. The candidate will likely have an interest in modular with a background in design. Location: Most urgent needs are in Richmond, VA; Aldie, VA; Boydton, VA; and Atlanta, GA. Core Qualifications
Design: Background in design and engineering of mission-critical facilities. Skill in calculations for electrical construction. Build: Interest in the manufacture of modular builds for electrical construction. Delivery: Onsite liaison, overseeing installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical construction. Bachelor’s: Engineering degree related to construction—civil, mechanical, electrical, industrial, etc. 99% are degreed. Experience: 12-15 years experience with a bachelor’s degree. PE License: Professional Engineer license highly preferred. Software: Revit MEP, Navisworks, Bluebeam, MS Office, ETAP/SKM, AGI32, etc. Abilities
Exposure to computer screens for extended periods. Sitting for extended periods. Reach by extending hands or arms in any direction. Finger dexterity for keyboard and similar tasks. Listen to and understand information presented through spoken words and sentences. Communicate information and ideas verbally so others will understand.
