Akkodis is seeking an

Electrical Engineer 3

for a

Contract

with a client in

Kalamazoo, MI . This role involves creating engineering drawings, evaluating design reliability and cost-effectiveness, and performing detailed calculations to support installation standards.

Rate Range $40/hour to $48/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and test electrical equipment and systems for commercial, industrial, or scientific use.

Create engineering drawings and interpret blueprints to guide manufacturing and installation processes.

Evaluate design models for cost-effectiveness, reliability, and safety, and perform simulations to test system operations.

Estimate project timelines and costs and investigate competitor products for benchmarking and improvement.

Apply electrical theory and perform detailed calculations to establish construction and installation standards.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related discipline.

5–7 years of experience in electrical design, testing, and manufacturing.

Ability to create and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints and perform detailed calculations for installation standards.

Proficiency in using design software and tools relevant to electrical engineering, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Pay Details: $40.00 to $48.00 per hour
