Physical Therapist Assistant Home Health
CenterWell Home Health is hiring a Physical Therapist Assistant Home Health. Base pay range: $58,400/yr - $80,000/yr. Actual pay depends on skills and experience.
Responsibilities
Administer the physical therapy treatment plan as developed by the Physical Therapist.
Administer non-complex active and passive manual therapeutic exercises, therapeutic massage, traction, heat, light, cold, water, and electrical modalities to patients.
Accurately documents daily, weekly, or monthly records of clients and submits clinical paperwork on time.
Attend educational meetings and contribute to department in-services.
Notify PT or Executive Director of equipment failures, supply issues, or client changes.
Schedule clients and perform varied office tasks.
Apply infection control and universal precautions in patient care.
Accept clinical assignments consistent with education and competence.
Promote compliance with fiscal intermediaries/third-party payors through education and coaching.
Qualifications
Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an American Physical Therapy Association.
Current state license to practice Physical Therapy.
Valid driver’s license, auto insurance and reliable transportation.
Proof of current CPR certification.
Minimum two years experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
Knowledge of geriatric patient needs.
Strong communication and organization skills; professional demeanor.
Meets continuing education requirements and maintains clinical competency.
Ability to work a flexible schedule and travel locally; maintain confidentiality.
Must read, write, and speak fluent English; good attendance.
Pay and Benefits Pay range: $58,400 - $80,000 per year (base). Pay per visit/unit: $37.00 - $52.00.
