Clinical Pharmacist - Pediatric Infusion Center
Join Cleveland Clinic as a Clinical Pharmacist in the Pediatric Infusion Center. As a Clinical Pharmacist in our Pediatric Infusion Center, you will play a vital role in ensuring safe, accurate, and timely medication therapy for our young patients in an outpatient infusion setting. You will oversee order verification, participate in IV room processes to confirm compounding, and deliver exceptional pharmacy services. You will oversee the selection, dosing, administration, and dispensing of medications, ensuring the highest standards of care for our pediatric population. A caregiver in this role will work day shifts from Monday through Friday. A first or second shift will be required every 8th weekend. Responsibilities
Provide safe, efficient, patient-centered, evidence-based medication services. Verify medication orders and/or dispense medications accurately according to state and federal regulations. Document services in a complete, accurate, and timely manner. Actively contribute to medication safety initiatives. Ensure all pharmacy operations are in compliance with national accreditation standards. Direct staff appropriately to provide safe and efficient care and maintain professional working relationships with all caregivers. Educate and train students, residents, other caregivers and/or patients. Qualifications
Minimum qualifications
PharmD or Bachelor’s of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited college of Pharmacy Current State licensure as a Registered Pharmacist (RPh) or eligible for reciprocation in current state within 90 days of hire Preferred qualifications
Board Certification Completion of a post-graduate year 1 residency (PGY1), fellowship or relevant post-graduate pharmacy experience Post-graduate year 2 residency (PGY2) or relevant experience preferred for Clinical Pharmacists hired in a Specialized Pharmacy practice area Other information

Typical physical demands include ability to stand and walk for prolonged times (approximately 75% of shift) and continuous activity for extended periods. Normal or corrected vision. Ability to clearly communicate verbally by phone or in person. Personal Protective Equipment
