Where state and federal laws/regulations allow, perform day-to-day non-clinical pharmacy operations and administrative activities; ensure efficient pharmacy workflow and a positive patient experience. Serve as a full-time certified pharmacy technician. Operate pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions. Under the supervision of a pharmacist, supervise pharmacy technicians and pharmacy cashiers within authorized company policies, laws, regulations and business ethics. Lead selection, scheduling, and development of pharmacy technician personnel. Manage training, coaching, and performance management of technicians. Make decisions regarding performance management including discipline and termination. Engage customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services. Resolve customer complaints and respond to requests in a timely manner to ensure a positive customer experience. Model and share customer service best practices. Assist pharmacist in patient care activities including patient registration, prescription data entry, preparation of medications, counting, and verification where allowed by law. Support healthcare service offerings including administering vaccines and health screenings where allowed by law. Delegate, direct, and assign non-clinical work in the pharmacy within policy and regulatory guidelines. Ensure tasks are completed on time and maintain efficient workflow. Prepare and file reports and records required by the company and government agencies under the direction of the Pharmacy Manager or pharmacist. Manage core pharmacy workflow and daily schedule, allocate pharmacy hours, and ensure the pharmacy is clean, neat, orderly, and stocked with supplies. Oversee non-clinical patient calls, inventory management, and recordkeeping; drive technology/process rollouts and engage the team around action planning. Adhere to Good Faith Dispensing policy during all applicable prescription-dispensing activities and ensure the elements of Good Faith Dispensing are met. Support asset protection, diversion monitoring, and report concerns affecting pharmacy security to the Pharmacy Manager. Communicate prescription errors to the accountable pharmacist and follow Company policies regarding errors and the Continuous Quality Improvement Program. Ensure accurate processing of insurance claims, follow up with insurers and providers, and participate in third-party audits as needed. Assist and support Store Manager and Pharmacy Manager in analyzing and improving pharmacy financials, operational quality, and customer service. Coordinate community outreach and immunization events; assign pharmacists to off-site clinics as directed; build and sustain relationships with retail partnerships. Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent. PTCB or ExCPT certification (except in Puerto Rico). One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting. Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico). Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends. Willingness to obtain active immunization certification within 90 days of hire (except in Community Specialty Pharmacy and Health System Pharmacy locations). Preferred Qualifications

Previous people management/leadership experience. Previous Walgreens experience with an Exceeding Expectation on last performance evaluation. Additional Information
