Hillcrest ED is the only Level II Trauma Center on Cleveland’s east side, providing emergency services from minor injuries to critical care. As an RN in this unit, you will use your skills to ensure patients receive timely care and you will have the support of teammates to enhance the patient experience and your professional growth. Shift:
Night shift from 7:00 p.m. – 7:30 a.m. with every other weekend and holiday rotation requirements. Benefits

Provide direct nursing care. Implement, monitor, evaluate, update, and revise patient care plans. Monitor, record, document, and communicate patients’ conditions. Administer prescribed medications and treatments. Note and carry out physician and nursing orders. Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs. Educate patients and their families. Minimum Qualifications
Graduate from an accredited School of Professional Nursing Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) One year of current acute care RN experience OR military RN experience Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC) upon hire or within 24 months of beginning work in the Emergency Department Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) through the American Heart Association within one year of hire Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Physical Requirements
Full range of body motion including lifting and handling patients, manual dexterity, and eye-hand coordination. Standing and walking for extended periods. Corrected vision and hearing to normal range. Ability to work under stressful conditions and irregular hours. Exposure to communicable diseases and/or body fluids. Medium to light physical effort with occasional to frequent lifting requirements. Personal Protective Equipment
