Our Pharmacy Managers play a critical role in cultivating a culture of excellence in their respective pharmacy by acting as a role model for all, demonstrating genuine care, and setting the bar for their pharmacy team. Responsibilities

Lead and develop a pharmacy team that provides exceptional patient care by promoting best practices and leading through change while identifying and addressing performance opportunities. Support novel program awareness, onboard newly hired pharmacy team members, and recognize colleagues for their success. Consistently exhibit best practices when working the bench—acting as quarterback of the team, providing patients with meaningful counseling, and abiding by all legal and regulatory guidelines. Direct and effectively manage the pharmacy team, including but not limited to: Living our purpose by helping to manage and improve patient health through safe and appropriate dispensing, counseling, and immunizing practices Overseeing the pharmacy team during bench shifts, improving performance through coaching and follow-up Supporting safe and accurate prescription fulfillment by following workflow procedures and safety guardrails Contributing to positive patient experiences with empathy and collaboration with the patient’s healthcare team Proactively offering and delivering immunizations and mentoring Pharmacy Technicians to immunize Managing pharmacy inventory with emphasis on protecting cold chain products Conducting onboarding for Technicians and Pharmacists, including training on CVS workflow Ensuring compliance with state Board of Pharmacy regulations and escalating issues when needed Partnering with the Store Manager to maintain a healthy talent pipeline and ensure training for licensure Overseeing Staff Pharmacists and District Support Pharmacists where applicable; delivering performance reviews Maintaining scheduling, safety, inclusivity, and team engagement Reviewing business reporting to drive action plans for workflow, service, patient care, and compliance Establishing a culture of safety and psychological safety; acting on feedback Maintaining clinical and technical skills; pursuing trainings and CMEs as required Supporting access to care and improving patient outcomes through pharmacist-delivered clinical care where permissible Complying with all relevant laws, regulations, standards, and CVS Health policies; safeguarding patient privacy and security Required Qualifications

Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located Active National Provider Identifier (NPI) Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list 1-2 years of experience as a Pharmacist Essential Functions

Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe Attention and Focus: ability to concentrate, pivot between tasks, and ensure label accuracy Customer Service and Team Orientation: proactively help customers and respond to reactions Communication Skills: clear verbal and written communication; active listening Mathematical Reasoning: calculate days supply, quantities, and dispensing requirements Problem Resolution: address challenging interactions and select appropriate actions Physical Demands: mobility, lifting, reaching, and visual acuity requirements Team Management and Leadership: lead by example, delegate, coach, and maintain accountability Additional tasks as directed by Supervisor or Manager Preferred Qualifications

Completion of the CVS Pharmacy Manager Emerging Leader (PM-EL) program 3-5 years related experience in pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service Ability to work in the home store and across the market as needed Anticipated Weekly Hours

Full time Pay Range

The Typical Pay Range For This Role Is $65.00 - $82.00 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. Benefits
