Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) / Physician Assistant

Responsibilities
Ability to provide quality care in both clinic and telehealth and meet patient volume goals targeted for tele and in patient as determined.
Lead clinic staff, in behaviors, actions and attitude (e.g. X-Ray Technologists, Nurses, and Front Office Specialists) in delivering excellent patient care. Provide guidance as necessary to ensure quality professional services and patient care.
Ability to perform responsibilities included on the SCRIBE job description.
Discuss and review patients’ medical history, symptoms, allergies, and current medications.
Ask patients situation-specific questions to formulate accurate diagnoses and ensure quality professional services and patient satisfaction.
Engage with clinical leadership to ensure strong patient care and resolution of concerns aligned with company values.
Meet patient volume goals targeted for tele and in-patient as determined.
Ensure accurate completion of patient charts in a timely manner and forward charts as appropriate daily; build and maintain confidence with all employees.
Implement clinical and Telehealth protocols as outlined by the CMO and Supervising Physicians.
Interpret patient histories, symptoms, physical findings, and diagnostic information to develop appropriate diagnoses.
Deliver excellent patient care through in-patient and virtual diagnostic and therapeutic recommendations with focus on patient-centric care, safety, cost, and accuracy.
Ensure activities are conducted in compliance with department expectations and Federal/State regulations, including HIPAA.
Work efficiently in a fast-paced, autonomous environment within both in-patient clinic and virtual settings.
Manage telehealth queue to ensure proper patient follow-up.
Order, perform, or interpret diagnostic tests; responsibly prescribe medications and educate patients on continued treatment and care.
Adhere to clinical practice guidelines and participate in mandatory meetings and E/M training.
Perform responsibilities within standard NP/PA protocols.
Complete mandatory compliance training and adhere to core values of teamwork, communication, empowerment, quality of care, and friendliness.
Contribute ideas to improve patient experience and care; communicate regularly with the team to support excellent patient care.
Welcome and train new employees, providing coaching and shadowing opportunities.
Build and maintain confidence and credibility with all employees; promote a positive work atmosphere.
Adhere to physical, cognitive, and environmental demands of the position as described; comply with company standards of operations.
Consult with patients through virtual channels; demonstrate experience as a Telehealth Clinician.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
PRN employees: minimum of 4 shifts per month; Full-time: 12-hour shifts and every other weekend.
Experience and Education
Education: Master’s Degree in Nursing (MSN) and/or Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies (MMS).
Experience: 1-2 years in relevant practice preferred (Urgent Care, Occupational Medical Facility, ER/Trauma, Family Practice).
Licenses and Certifications
Active, in-good-standing license and DEA; DEA required for providers (where limited by state law, DEA within 120 days of meeting minimum years of practice).
DOT certification is required to be obtained by FT and PT Providers within 120 days of employment and maintained during employment.
Ability to treat all ages and meet credentialing requirements.
Other Requirements
On-call periodically; PRN/Full-time expectations as outlined.
