The Clinical Scientist Co-op will support the design and development of global clinical studies, aimed at generating robust clinical evidence to enhance patient outcomes through the use of Abiomed products. The role provides hands-on experience and learning from a dedicated, cross-disciplinary team of scientists. Qualifications

Currently enrolled in a graduate program (Masters or PhD) in Biophysics, Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Computational Biology, Pharmacy, or a related field Solid understanding of cardiology and cardiovascular space, including familiarity with medical devices Proficient in biostatistics, with hands-on experience using statistical software such as MATLAB, R, or SAS for data analysis and modeling Highly motivated and dependable team player with strong work ethic, excellent interpersonal communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving Permanently authorized to work in the U.S., must not require sponsorship of an employment visa at the time of application or in the future. Students currently on CPT, OPT, or STEM OPT usually require future sponsorship for long-term employment and do not meet requirements for this program unless eligible for an alternative long-term status that does not require company sponsorship. The anticipated base pay range for this position is

23$ per hour to 51.50$ per hour . The anticipated base pay may be based on the candidate's program year, discipline, degree and/or experience. This position is overtime eligible. Intern/Co-ops may be eligible to participate in Company employee benefit programs such as medical insurance, sick time, holiday pay, and the Company’s consolidated retirement plan in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans.
