Scope Of Position The Security Supervisor is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and employees. Assist the Security Manager with scheduling, training, and evaluation of security staff. The Security Supervisor’s performance is necessary for the casino to reach its full potential in providing a superior entertainment experience for its guests.
Duties And Responsibilities
Performs all functions in accordance with applicable laws and gaming regulations, the mission statement, and objectives of the Comanche Nation Entertainment as well as established policies, procedures and controls.
Responsible in assisting Security Manager for disciplining, performance appraisals and addressing employee issues.
Handles problems or grievances (employees/guests) as soon as the need arises within the Security department. Capable of making critical decisions. Must follow prescribed chain of command.
Works with investigators to conduct internal investigations involving employees and customers.
Assists with assurance of compliance with Tribal, State and Federal Internal Controls requirements by constant review and update of Internal Controls.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Requirements Supervises personnel in their day-to-day activities.
Physical & Environmental Demands The Security Supervisor regularly communicates and exchanges information with coworkers and guests, and operates a computer, other office equipment, and handheld radio. The Security Supervisor will regularly be required to remain stationary for 50 percent or more of their scheduled shift. Depending on the weather, the Security Supervisor will be exposed to extreme cold or heat, temperatures varying from below 32 degrees to 100 degrees or more, for periods of more than one hour. Work is performed throughout all areas of the facility where there may be flashing lights and the noise levels vary from quiet to loud depending on the time of day, the specific location and the amount of business. The Security Supervisor must be able and willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays and in a smoke-filled environment. The workplace is also under constant surveillance both inside and outside the facility. The incumbent may be exposed to the risks associated in attempting to resolve contentious issues with difficult guests and staff members. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.

Qualifications, Education And/Or Experience
Possess a High School Diploma or equivalency to include Home School Certificate; or
Three (3) years related experience and/or training.
